1-2-1 AND 1-2-2 TRAINING

The reason Foundry Fitness first started, 1-2-1 and 1-2-2 training is still the most popular choice of the clientele, with the benefits of one on one tuition and the pleasure of a private gym combined.

GROUP TRAINING (3-5 PEOPLE)

We all know that training can be hard work sometimes. Group training can make this seem easier by sharing the pain and the sense of achievement as you watch yourself and your friends fitness levels improve together. Whether training for a specific event, competition or just companionship, group training is a more relaxed alternative.

FITNESS ASSESSMENTS

Fitness Assessments are completed when you first start training at the Foundry Fitness Studio and provide an important reference point. They allow you to see the improvements you have made to your wellbeing, and the time it has taken you to get there. They will include such measurements as height and weight, flexibility, body fat percentages, blood pressure and resting heart rate.

FITNESS PROGRAMMING

When you first start training, a program will be written for you which will include various different exercises tailored specifically to meet your exercise requirements. At the start, the program may seem a challenge, but as fitness levels improve and the exercises become easier, the program will be adapted by the Foundry Fitness team to be a continually increasing challenge through more advanced routines, to push you towards your physical fitness peak.

CORPORATE FITNESS

Each package is tailored towards your requirements and the space available to us. In general each employee assessment takes between 15-20 minutes and typically includes:

Lifestyle Assessment (inc. stress management, diet and activity)

Blood pressure testing

Body Composition testing (including recommended ranges)

Peak flow testing/respiratory function

SCHOOL FITT SESSIONS

F.I.T.T. stands for "FITNESS, INTERACTION, TECHNIQUE and TRAINING" and these are the core components of our youth exercise sessions. This is suitable for all different fitness levels, as the sessions will be tailored to meet individual needs within a group environment. This form of activity is on a group training format and can take place in connection with a school, youth club, sports team or even a privately organized group. The age of the children and the length of the training session are negotiable and can be discussed on application. An initial assessment is carried out along with parental questions answered and consent forms filled out.

FOUNDRY FITNESS RUNNING CLUB

The Foundry Fitness Running Club is held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm-8pm. There is a £30 annual fee which entitles you to as many runs per year as you feel capable of. All abilities are welcome, and a different work out is offered each time (fartlek, intervals etc).

BOXING CIRCUITS

A fun 45 minute work out comprising of punch bag and focus pad cardio work combined with a calorie burning, energy boosting reistance circuit set to a lively and nostalgic soundtrack. The biggest bargin in the bourgh for only £5 (any fitness level welcome, always with 2 instructors).
